We are now incorporated under the B.C. Society  Act and we have received status as a Charitable Organization from the Canadian Revenue Agency. We have put the letter from the CRA on the website under the Certificate of Charitable Status menu item.

Many people do not know much, if anything, about Fibromyalgia, neither what it is nor how it affects people. A good  definition of this disorder is in the B.C. Health Guide: "Fibromyalgia is a condition that  causes chronic muscle and soft tissue pain and tenderness on both sides of the body,  above and below the waist. Fibromyalgia does not damage the body, destroy the joints,  or cause any internal organ problems, but the pain may be severe enough to interfere  with work and other activities...People often have trouble sleeping because of the pain.  There may also be stiffness, weakness, and fatigue." Thus, the primary goal of the  foundation is to help Fm Sufferers to lead a more rewarding life.

Individual memberships in the Foundation are $10.00 per person and corporate memberships are $50.00 per business.
